D365: Day 8

If you know me, you know I've been dying my hair since my first "sun-in" experience when I was 12. (anybody else remember that stuff???) Ever since then, I've used a box for my golden locks. I've learned a lot from this.. Like avoiding any color that contains ash. And that one time I decided to go dark brown and didn't realize it would fade to a light dirtydishsoap/brown/red color. Yikes. And for my friends that REALLY know me, know that I actually paid for my skunk style hair. That was a true gem.

Basically, I've learned to stick to the same box. Do. Not. Deviate. But ever since I've seen those color foam commercials I've been so intrigued..

So tonight I'm trying it. Going against my instinct to never deviate. Wish me luck!

D365: Day 7

Between my endocrinologist appointment, refilling prescriptions, getting blood work done... Along with my daily carb counting, insulin injections, bg monitoring and work out to lower my bg.... It's safe to say today was a heavy diabetic day.

Today's picture is my nighttime necessities, you know, just incase I go into a coma while i'm sleeping. Awesome.

We went to lunch at Texas de Brazil to celebrate the birthday boy one last time. I also got to spend time with my favorite niece :) I love being home so much.

D365: Day 3

To sum today up, it sucked. I was recovering from this all day long.

D365: Day 2

My first ever no-hitter. Aka the first time ever I didn't go to high or to low. (although I was pretty freaking close, mere points away). After how much work diabetes requires, I'm pretty damn proud.
