D365: Day 171

Last night of age 22. Worst night for bg numbers. Here's where I realized the wrong site for my pump should be...

D364: Day 175

Ever since we moved Lola has taken on the sort or digging. It's awful.

D365: Day 174

Thanks to pinterest, I finally have a wall done. This angle makes them looked crooked... Promise they're not!

D365: Day 173

Realizing I don't own my bed... Lola does.

D365: Day 172

Happy 23rd birthday to me!

D365: Day 170

Who says I can't have pasta? Thanks pumpie!

D365: Day 169

This is picture from before we moved. I forgot to take a picture today, but really all I did was work and watch the Olympics. Since this picture is of Lola watching gymnastics, I couldn't resist thinking it was related.

D365: Day 168

My diabetes supply closet. I come with a lot of baggage.

D365: Day 167

The fun part of moving.... DECORATING!!!! Thank goodness ROSS exist so I can afford it.

D365: Day 166

This is a win. :-)

D365: Day 165

You win some, you lose some.

This is a loss.

D365: Day 164

Our life is chaos in boxes & nobody knows what to do with themselves. Including Lola. Moments before this picture, she was sitting in that box nawing away at the cardboard.

D365: Day 163

My follow up appointment after receiving my pump. This is where I learn the goal of having Basal/Bolus ratio should be as close to 50/50 as possible. Look who gets an A+!!

D365: Day 162

Free meter in the mail :-) It's really pretty sad how excited I get with free diabetes stuff, but seriously. This meter looks like an ipod. With all this tech gear, it better look good.

D361: Day 161

Ben & I have started a big life adventure.... After (almost) seven years together, we're moving in together. I couldn't be more excited!!!

D365: Day 160

My first apartment all packed up (excluding Lola's toys). I've never been so happy to move! Maybe it's the fact I had a lot of horrible life experiences in that place, but I just couldn't wait to turn in the keys.

D365: Day 159

My first site change gone horribly wrong. I forgot to caulk the needle resulting in tremendous pain. It's suppose to go in straight but CLEARLY did not. It was inside me all crooked like that, but thankfully I didn't leave it in very long. Let's just say I learned my lesson.

D365: Day 158

Watching the Olympic opening ceremonies! Not going to lie, I thought the beginning was VERY strange, but I definitely liked it as it progressed.

D365: Day 157

The day I got my Insulin Pump :-)

BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!

D365: Day 156

We upgraded Lola's kennel, but I was having a VERY difficult time fitting it the room. All I could think of was "PIVOT!".

D365: Day 154

I have the CUTEST puppy!
Lola in her snuggie....hehehe

D365: Day 153

I'm intrigued by these.... claiming 0 carbs. At the end of the day I decided against them, they sounded to good to be true.

D365: Day 152

IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE! On the day before my 7month dia-versary I might add!

D365: Day 151

MY INSULIN PUMP IS ON IT'S WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

D365: Day 150

Just leaving work early to have a snow cone party with the boss and co-workers. I love my job!

D365: Day 149

Ok... I have a confession. I'M OBSESSED with the Kardashian's. It truth. And it makes my workouts bearable.

D365: Day 149

A beautiful Texas sun set.

D365: Day 148

I love summers in Texas. I have to say, this has been the best summer yet. We've gotten SO much rain it's been wonderful. Not to mention, it's keeping those 100F at bay.

D365: Day 147

My pintrosity: Taco Bell Crunchwrap gone completely wrong. My second time was MUCH better in my defense... but this was just too hilarious not to share.

D365: Day 146

HAPPY COW APPRECIATION DAY!!!!!!! Free Chick-fil-a with our business casual cow attire. except I paid 70 cents for my salad..... ahhh diabetes. ruining everything.

D365: Day 145

I listen to 8 tracks too much.I loathe this message.

D365: Day 144

omg y'all........

Biscoff. On waffles.

YOU'RE WELCOME.

D365: Day 143

I'm on my way to get my insulin pump! 1st stop: A diabetes education class. Did it make me proud that I knew everything she was discussing? Yes. I'm taking my life seriously. Do I wish I didn't have to know this? YES.

D365: Day 142

Another reason I feel like I'm five. Fruit roll ups save my life.. LITERALLY.

D365: Day 141

From scraps....
To a full on computer! Way to go baybuh! You is Smart. :)

D365: Day 140

A pretty little wedding for a pretty little friends :) And of course, an Aggie wedding wouldn't be complete without the War Hymn. Congrats Annie and Michael!!!!

D365: Day 139

I'm not going to lie, I don't even know what control test is....
Hope it's not important.

D365: Day 138

Here's to America.

D365: Day 137

I REALLY need to start taking my phone off vibrate. Laughed so hard when I saw this, especially since it was an hour after he sent it hahaha

D365: Day 136

The sensor came out today. I had NO idea how long it was OR that is was such a flexible needle. At least I didn't feel it :)

D365: Day 135

Totally yummy pinterest dinner. DELICIOUSSSS

D365: Day 134

What's left of my favorite shoe :(

D365: Day 133

I'm on my way to an insulin pump!!!!! After seeing my new endo/nurse I am on my first step! I'm wearing a CGM for the weekend. It's taking my bg's every thirty seconds... Part of the info they need to make the magic happen.

I was seriously GRINNING from ear to ear as I left the office!

*** note*** that saran wrap looking stuff didn't last too long. It was SUPER itchy.. They taped the CGM because I have to return it & it's worth $1,600. Yowza!

Except she cancelled because she was sick.....who ever thinks about doctors being sick??

I hope my good numbers continue.

D365: Day 131

I have a nephew!!!!!!!!!! Brody Ryan McVicker :)
